Huddersfield Child Sex Abuse Charges

29 men and women have been charged with numerous historic sexual offence following Huddersfield child sex abuse investigation.
The offences are believed to have taken place between 2004 and 2011 and were committed in the Huddersfield area against the alleged victims as children. The offences relate to 18 women who were aged between 11 and 17 at the time.
The defendants are aged between 25 and 55 and they have been charged with numerous offences including rape, trafficking with intent to engage in sexual exploitation, sexual activity with a child, child neglect, making indecent images, child abduction, supply of Class A drugs and possession. One man alone has been charged with 21 offences of rape.
The arrests were carried out following the investigation which began in late 2013.
