Ex-railway worker jailed
Posted on: April 13, 2017
Raymond Woodhouse aged 73 who is an ex-railway worker, has been jailed for 4 years. He will now be on the sex offenders’ register for life and will be subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
Woodhouse sexually abused his victim for two years. It is believed that Woodhouse would perform a sexual act on the boy and then ask him to touch him but the child refused. Woodhouse pleaded guilty to indecent assault of a boy under 16 years of age.
The court heard that the boy’s mother and father said they had noticed a change in their son. ‘He was a lively boy. From 15 or 16 years onwards he became very, very introvert.’
