Cadwell School Investigation
Posted on: January 21, 2017
Derbyshire Police are investigating reports of historic sexual assault at Caldwell Hall Boarding School. Derbyshire Police are asking people who attended or worked at Caldwell Hall Boarding School, now known as Pegasus School, between 1979 and 1980 to contact them.
DC Tom Barry, of Derbyshire Police, said “We would like any pupils or staff who attended/worked at the school between 1979 and 1980 to contact us as they may have relevant information to assist us with our enquiries.”
Anyone who attended the school should contact Derbyshire Police on 101.
In January 2016 a care worker at the Pegasus School was jailed for 22 weeks for holding her hands around the neck of a vulnerable resident of the special school, and hitting her with a slipper.
